therapy

so i was going to see a therapist. awesome, i thought. all my friends will be happy. and my dates, lol.

she seemed nice. convenient.

and then i got the cancellation policy. $130 if i forget an appointment. WTF? or reschedule. not required if i schedule within the same week. well, what if i can't reschedule?

i told her i'd think about it. nothing in my life costs me $130 if i forget it...

Hey Bull,

Have you ever heard about Landmark? It's essentially a 3-day self-help seminar which I was completely skeptical about going in but it was an AMAZING experience.

I avoid therapists because their job is almost to keep you constantly rehashing your problems. Landmark is great as you essentially confront your past (issues you would have NEVER thought of), learn to just be present and not fill your future with remnants of your past.

Awesome experience. Good for you delving into self-improvement though!

i really like that idea. the conferences i've been going to from understanding men are along the same line. so in case you are right, i've been reviewing that material.

i will check out what you mentioned. i think my cousins are into that landmark thing and believe they also recommended it.

i spoke to my massage therapist & he thought the cx fee for the therapist was excessive too. i found out the one for my PT is only $25. i am fine with that. but $130. damn. not.
